Introduction to ceramics
“It’s working!” It crumbled … “It’s hanging this time!” It crumbled again … “Damn it, ceramics! As God is my witness, I’ll be the last one standing!”
Tons of persistence, a connection with the past and a desire to leave a legacy for the future – that’s one way to define a potter. And hands. Something about them.
If you’ve ever wondered how all-powerful it feels to shape a block of clay with the slightest touch, this is your chance to try.
(Spoiler alert: It may end up being a much more humbling experience than you expect … And that’s probably a good thing.)
